The Hyde Park Historical Society hosted this Event on Sunday, July 18, 2021

Patricia Morse Presented on the history of Hyde Park‘s hotels, followed by a question and answer period. From Paul Cornell’s hotel at the birth of Hyde Park through the 1893 Columbian Exposition to the Roaring Twenties and urban renewal, hotels and motels have marked the eras of Hyde Park development, a process that continues today. This talk marked the opening of The Study at The University of Chicago in August 2021.
