SET IN STONE: THE ART OF STONE CARVING

Walter Arnold, stonecutter and Hyde Park/Kenwood native, will discuss his training and career and will show us examples of his work abroad and in the U.S., including at the National Cathedral. His work can be seen at several locations in Hyde Park, including the Medici and the Lab School. Classically trained in Italy, Walter S. Arnold is committed to preserving the traditional techniques of stone and marble carving.
