Hyde Park Historical Society History Fair Program

Hear the winners of the Hyde Park Historical Society's award for the best student projects on the history of Hyde Park Township from the 2017 Chicago Metro History Fair present their projects. Program will include a panel led by Jay Mulberry, past HPHS president, Timuel D. Black, Jr., noted oral historian, and Maryhelen Matijevic, assistant principal, Mt. Carmel High School, Chicago. Featured projects are:“Jane: The Fight for Equality,” website by Allison Elby and Madeleine Mirza, Maine West High School, Des Plaines, IL. “William H. McNeill: Taking a Stand for Global History,” paper by Nikki Han, University of Chicago Laboratory High School.
