HYDE PARK HISTORICAL SOCIETY INVITES YOU TO AN ORAL HISTORY PROGRAM: "HYDE PARK-KENWOOD STORIES THEN AND NOW" REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Do you remember the Hyde Park Y.M.C.A. or the old Harper Theatre? Did you shop at the Hyde Park Co-op or at Breslauer’s Department Store? Do you remember dining in restaurants in the old Harper Court Shopping Center? Did you or your children participate in sports activities at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club or were involved in after school activities with other community organizations? Revisit the glorious past of your neighborhood by sharing your memories and listening to some stories you’ve never heard before at a unique oral history program. Bring photos or other memorabilia to share.
