Meet the winners of the Society's award for the best student projects on the history of Hyde Park Township from the 2016 Chicago Metro History Fair. See a presentation of their projects. Commentary on student projects will be made by: Timuel D. Black, Jr., Oral Historian, Jay Mulberry, former HPHS President, and Frank Valadez, Executive Director, Chicago Metro History Education Center.

Projects featured are:

Julien Bendalac, Paige Fishman, Isabel Levin, Alex Rodman, and Ellie Roussos, University of Chicago Laboratory High School. Documentary: “Elaine May Paves the Way for American Comediennes.”

Aedin Donahue and Hailey Hoffman. Regina Dominican High School, Wilmette, IL. Exhibit: “Colored People in the White City.”
